Sun Vista RV Resort opened for its first winter season in the fall of 1984. The official completion was celebrated with a ribbon cutting ceremony on March 13, 1985 and the resort was annexed into the City of Yuma on July 3, 1999.
Our two-story Fitness Center was completed in 2007 providing us with a spacious facility with various pieces of exercise equipment including circuit exercise equipment. We have pools and jacuzzis both indoors and outdoors. Our new Fun Park has a large radio control race track among other outdoor activities. We have acquired many additional amenities since the grand opening in 1985. Click on the Amenities & Tour button to the left for more details regarding all the facilities we have for your enjoyment. We have a recreation department dedicated to providing so much entertainment that you will have to set your priorities in choosing which activities you will attend. We have our own in-park television channel to keep you up to the minute of anything happening in our resort. The recreation staff will keep you as busy as you want, or perhaps you want to just relax in our library or in our indoor or outdoor pool and spas.
