What's Going on....

2008-2009 Winter Season Preparations

Every summer the staff is kept busy preparing for the next winter season. This year is no different; there are several projects underway now, some tasks are completed and there are more jobs to do. Here is a partial listing of “What’s Happening”!
A big job that we are working on right now is the remodeling of our shower rooms. We are removing the ceramic tiles, making any necessary plumbing repairs, and replacing the tile with a new material similar to what is used for countertops.
Floor tiles were replaced in the Kitchen. Automatic door openers were added to the South Laundry doors to make access easier when carrying laundry baskets.
Sports fans will be happy with the addition of Fox Sports Arizona to our TV Channel Lineup. This network covers The University of Arizona, Arizona State University and the professional sports teams.
The pool rooms have been spruced up with new upholstery on the benches and the addition of backs to the benches. All twelve pool tables have new fabric and the players really enjoy having the tables all leveled again.
Cleaning, waxing, painting etc. will continue, making everything ready for the Sun Vista Family to return!
